Dunia Dalaman : Charity Begins...

Image : Masjidil haram, Ramadhan 2012

I was amazed with the "charity" culture around Masjidil haram and Masjid Nabawi, particularly during the hajj and the month of ramadhan. It comes in various forms: money, foods ( tamar, milk, laban, breads, nasi arab) and as you can see in the above picture that i snapped during my last umrah in ramadhan, this guy is giving away tissue papers for the people who is doing the tawaf on the first floor of the beautiful mosque. It was such a big help, as the weather was very hot ( 48-50 degree) at that time.

If you do your saei, there is even people who "spray" your face with zam zam water using the ironing spary bottle to cool you down..(saei- around 3.5km walk). I tell you, it really helps.  I purposely go near the person who got the spray to get my face sprayed! * But i forgot to snap photo as usually during saei i  ll be extra "tired"...hehehe

When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was once asked what qualities in Islam are good, he responded, “To feed the poor and greet those whom you know and those whom you don’t know,” (Reported in Bukhari).
